(DP), is a Core Defence Electronics company in Design, Development & Manufacture of Radar (Low frequency to High Frequency), EW systems, Nano Satellites, Avionics, Rugged Avionic Displays and ATE Test Systems for Defence and Aerospace applications. We are hiring Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) - Projects Group (PRJ)

Job Location: Chennai (SIPCOT IT PARK - SIRUSERI)

Work Mode: Work from Office

Employment Type: Permanent

Service bond: Yes, 36 months service agreement (3 years -BOND)

Salary:

  • CTC: Rs. 3,60,000/- annum (with PF deduction) – Fresher
  • Post successful completion of 1 Year CTC: Rs. 4,80,000/- annum (with PF deduction) - 1+ year
  • Post successful completion of 2 years CTC: Rs. 6,00,000/- annum (with PF deduction) - 2+ year

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: BE/ME/M.Tech

Specialization: E&I, ECE/EEE/Communication/Signal Processing/Optics/VLSI

Graduating Year: 2021 & 2022

Percentage: Aggregate of 60% & above in 10th,12th and Graduation

Backlog: No backlog as on date

Primary Skill sets: Basics of Electronics (Analog and Digital circuits) Microprocessor & Micro-controller, ADCs, DACs, Multiplexers, LIC, OP-AMP, Transistor, Diode etc., and good written and spoken communication skills.

Specialization: CSE/ECE/EEE

Job Description of Software Engineer – Trainee

Under general direction, the Software Engineer Trainee plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. They resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design development, code, test and debug of new software or complex enhancements to existing software for embedded applications
  • Worked with technical staff to understand and develop resolutions for software problems
  • Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements
  • Optimize developed code to maximize performance of system
  • Create or enhance built-in-test (BIT) capability
  • Assists in the development of software user manuals
  • May interface with hardware development teams

Required Skill sets:

  • Excellent knowledge in C, C++, Assembly, Data Structures, OS concepts, Microprocessor & Micro controller and good system programming skills in C language
  • Proficiency in the following aspects of Linux software is required: character device drivers, user-space applications, socket programming, building and installing open-source applications, and building and testing the kernel
  • Experience with the use of debugging tools
  • Experience with VxWorks (optional)
  • Proficiency with lab debugging equipment (Oscilloscopes, logic analysers, JTAG emulators)
  • Proficiency in block device drivers is desirable
  • Experience with GUI development using Python/PyQT for test application is desirable
  • Proficiency in Wind River Linux/Fedora/Red Hat build environment and Wind River Linux build environment is desirable

Terms & Conditions of our employment:
  • If selected for employment you will be required to join us on 18th April 2022
  • We provide 3-4 months Internship in our R&D and MFG, with a stipend of Rs. 12,000/- month
  • As part of our joining formality, you will be required to enter into a 36 months service agreement (3 years -BOND)with us, In case you separate from our employment before the agreement period,you will have to pay us a sum of Rs 3,00,000/- as LD (Liquidity Damage) to get formally relieved
  • Only if you are agreeable to all the above terms & conditions, you are requested to attend the online Written test
